Bronxwood Adult Home was established in 1976 and provides housing to 320 residents. In 1999, we saw our population aging and wanted to provide services so our residents could age in place. We applied and were approved to provide assisted living services to 177 residents, which include personal care services, housekeeping, laundry, meals and medication management as well as aide services. We also began to provide home care services as we realized our community needed the same quality services that we could provide those quality services.

We created an atmosphere where residents can live safely, without interfering with their independence.

To help ensure quality services each Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide is fully trained and certified. Conducting criminal background checks is a standard practice at Bronxwood
